How clean is it?
This is a question that previously you could only answer by just looking at something or taking swabs and sending them off to a laboratory.
Perfect Example can now answer this question in less than one minute with our Perfect Hygiene Monitoring System (PHMS) so we can audit and measure cleaning standards or microbial contamination.
How does it work?
Our handheld bioluminescence luminometer measures Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). This is the universal energy molecule found in all animal, plant, bacterial, yeast and mould cells. After cleaning, sources of ATP should be significantly reduced.
We swab selected areas of washrooms, kitchens or other sensitive areas. This swab is then loaded into our luminometer which measures the ATP and after a 15 second analysis, it delivers a reading. This reading then tells us how clean the surface actually is and is great for auditing or testing cleaning effectiveness. This data is then downloaded to a report that hold
During some of our recent monitoring visits, we have been able to identify key areas of commercial premises that have either not been cleaned or have been cleaned poorly using bacteria loaded cloths in one case. From our visits, customers can target weak cleaning practises and make important changes in their cleaning schedules.
