Holiday Home Cleaning & Changeover
As all of our properties are either very individual or 4 or 5 star rated, our Housekeeper teams are well acquainted with the expectations of the discerning guests and indeed owners. We do pride ourselves in our training and support and all of our staff who are focused on paying attention to the detail required.
We always carry out a changeover clean on departure, which ensures that any property problems are identified early. On every changeover, your property would be cleaned throughout to ensure that every trace of the previous guests are removed!
A brief overview of the main housekeeping visits are:
Changeovers
This is a full and comprehensive changeover clean of the property to an exacting specification and standards. Our main cleaning product is biodegradable and is not harmful to humans, plants and other beneficial organisms.
Just changeover cleaning is not enough for a quality holiday property, so our housekeepers also present the property, fault find, make all the beds with fresh linen, provide fresh towels and carry out our detailed property arrival checks. At the time of their changeover visit, our Housekeepers also place
sundry items,
welcome gifts (if required) and they also use our highly rated
Welcome Text service to notify guests when the property is ready. This is welcomed, particularly if the guests can get in much earlier! They also ensure mandatory legal compliance through our professional reporting service on the changeover visit.
If our Housekeepers find any property maintenance issue during the changeover or any other visit, then they have a direct line to our property management team who will either resolve the problem themselves or manage the immediate response of our preferred specialist contractors. Please see our

Linen Only
If you have guests on a two week booking, we would strip and remake beds and provide fresh towels mid way through their occupancy. Although this is not a cleaning visit, we can provide regular Housekeeper visits for guests that require this service during their stay.
Check & Refresh
If your property has been empty for 7 days or more and guests are coming in, then we carry out a Check & Refresh service This would encompass a visual check of all light bulbs and appliances, carrying out pre guest checks for such things as heating and hot water, dusting to remove any light films of dust and anything else that has been specified.
Spring Clean
Once a year we would normally carry out a spring clean, just before the new letting season. The spring clean is carried out to our detailed specification using our commercial steam cleaning equipment, floor scrubbers and other specialist equipment.
Quality Assurance
We do not sub contract any of our housekeeping work and it is all done by our own employed, trained, unformed and insured staff that are managed through a proven management structure. Once our Housekeepers have finished a changeover visit, their work is assessed by a member of our field management team to ensure that our industry leading standards are met, on every single visit. It is only after this assessment is satisfied that the incoming guests are notified that the property is ready.
